Draft: our postal address and phone number are being added.

Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Peekafold app and peekafold.com. They are written for the grown-up who downloads the app for a child. By using Peekafold you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Your licence to use the app

The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), together with these terms. If the two disagree, the Standard EULA wins for anything it covers.

The app is offered by Huynh Gia Bao Nguyen (“we”), not by Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

For grown-ups

Peekafold is made for children aged 5 and under, used with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. Accounts, purchases, settings and links out of the app are for grown-ups and sit behind a parental gate. You are responsible for your child’s use of the app and for keeping your Apple Account’s purchase settings (such as Ask to Buy and Screen Time) as you want them.

Purchases and subscriptions

Some books need Peekafold Pro (a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase) or are sold on their own. All purchases are made through Apple’s In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms.

  • Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price unless you are told otherwise, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trial: if an offer includes a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Manage or cancel: in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds: Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com under its policies. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
  • Family Sharing: where it is turned on, eligible purchases can be shared with your family group as Apple describes.
  • Restore: use Restore purchases in the grown-ups corner, signed in to the same Apple Account.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for, and Apple tells you about price increases for subscriptions as its rules require.

Our books and your stickers

The books, pictures, characters (including Foldy), music, sounds and software in Peekafold belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Your licence lets your family enjoy them in the app for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, sell, modify or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

What your child makes in a book (a butterfly print, a sticker cover) is yours to enjoy and stays on your device unless you turn on a family account.

We may add, change or retire books and features over time. If a book you bought on its own is retired, it stays available to you where technically possible.

The family account

The family account is optional. Keep your Apple or Google account secure; you can delete the family account in the grown-ups corner at any time. We may suspend an account that is used to attack or abuse the service. Our Privacy Policy explains what the account stores.

Fair use

Please do not use Peekafold or peekafold.com to break the law, to interfere with the service or other people’s use of it, to try to reach data that is not yours, or to send automated or abusive requests (for example to the waitlist).

What we promise, and its limits

We work hard to make Peekafold safe, calm and reliable, and we fix problems you tell us about. The app is a game, not a substitute for a teacher or a doctor, and it is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app and its purchases in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country you live in, which may not allow some of these limits.

If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

Apple

You and we acknowledge that these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims; we are responsible for those claims, and for investigating and defending any claim that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; we will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell signed-in grown-ups in the app. If you keep using Peekafold after a change, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without taking away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, whose courts you may also use.
